PAC (PDF Accessibility Checker)
PAC (PDF Accessibility Checker)
Overview
PAC (PDF Accessibility Checker) is a free tool, available only for Windows users, that evaluates PDF files against PDF/UA accessibility standards. While PAC cannot remediate accessibility issues, it provides detailed reports with AI-assisted checks that help identify problems with document structure, tags, reading order, alternative text, headings, and other accessibility features. PAC is often used after remediation to verify that a PDF meets accessibility requirements.
