Learning Journeys
Learning Journeys
Learning Journeys are a TLOS mission-focused way to create an avenue for faculty to build or improve their Digital Fluency. Learning journeys provide a curated collection of courses offered by the Professional Development Network (PDN). Upon completion, participants will earn a digital credential that they can display in their email footer, LinkedIn profile, or on other professional platforms to showcase what they have learned.
Typical Journey Structure
Foundation(s): One to two courses that will set a baseline for the topics or concepts to be covered or explored during the learning journey.
Electives: Either a set path or a collection of options that are taken to cover various aspects of the topic or concepts of the learning journey.
Capstone: A culminating experience that ties together the courses taken. This could be a summary of lessons learned, the creation of an artifact, or a showcase for others.
