Faculty can work with an instructional designer, support specialist, instructional technologist, or other TLOS team members in areas including graphics design, media development, and digital imaging to produce online learning objects or activities.
From Our Studio
TLOS Media Services offers faculty high-quality video recording options in a studio setting or in the field. Video recording includes assistance with professionally staged, edited, and produced video for streaming and storing for use in online and traditional classroom settings. Graphics and Image Development
TLOS team members are available to help faculty develop graphics, web-based content, images, and print media for technology-enhanced learning. Created learning materials adhere to copyright and accessibility requirements for flexible/onlne learning. Example: https://vital.tlos.vt.edu/
Studios and Equipment
Faculty can find many digital content creation resources in the Newman Library including media studios and check-out equipment. See https://lib.vt.edu/create-share/studios.html.
Photos or short videos can be edited at the TLOS computer workstation using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and other software. Email tlos@vt.edu to schedule using the computer workstation.

When considering online interactive learning activities or objects with short video introductions, photos, and media that don’t require a full studio experience or expert editing and production, the Content Development DIY Studio is the place to be.
The DIY Studio is equipped with a high-quality digital video camera, multiple backgrounds (including a green screen), sound mitigation, high-level microphones for audio recording, and preset lighting.
